Voltex Racing Suzuka Japan was established by Akihiro Nakajima in 2003. Mr.Nakajima honed his aerodynamics knowledge and engineering skills over the last four decades, culminating in the launch and continued progression of his brand.

Today, Voltex can be seen on the highest performing vehicles around the globe.

  • 1986

    Joined Hayashi Cars (currently Tokyo R&D)

    Mr.Nakajima starts as an apprentice mechanic for F-3, Gr-C, RS, A250.

  • 1987

    Joined Akasaka Racing (kart shop)

    Mr.Nakajima gains experience as a mechanic and a racer in the All Japan and local championship races.

  • 1988

    Joined First Molding

    Mr.Nakajima learns aero manufacturing of body cowls for racing, show models, and solar cars.

  • 1992

    Trained at CROSBY GRP (UK)

    Mr.Nakajima works in the carbon composite shop at CROSBY GRP, where F1 driver Jean Alesi was an engineer.

  • 1992

    Founded NAKAJI GRP

    Mr.Nakajima begins manufacturing parts for racing F3/FJ and also developing products for aero manufacturers as an OEM.

  • 2003

    Voltex is born

    Mr.Nakajima starts collaboration on development of tuning cars, mainly GT wings, under the brand name “VOLTEX”

  • 2006

    Founded Voltex Co. LTD

    Mr.Nakajima founded Voltex Co., Ltd., which continues to this day.
